Canopy Hoods – Are they the new black?

We’ve noticed an upturn in the amount of ceiling hoods and canopy hoods we have been selling recently – which suggests a move away from the standard wall mounted hood above the hob in modern kitchen designs. Both are more discrete options and give more design options in your new kitchen.
Canopy Hoods offer a nice discrete solution for hiding away the appliance and in a fully integrated kitchen is in keeping with the style and design of the finished room.

A Canopy Extractor sits inside a wall unit above the hob and behind a false door. It doesn’t sit proud of the units and is not visible. The height above the Canopy Hood is dependent on the type of hob, it must be 750mm above a gas hob, but can be 650mm above an electric/induction.
