Overloading your fridge can also lead to food waste as products may get spoiled. Not only can tightly packed containers block air circulation, it can cause bacterial growth leading to potential health problems.
- Lower Energy-Efficiency
Trying to store more food than your fridge is designed to hold puts extra strain on the machine causing excessive wear and tear. What’s more, it results in higher energy consumption. Even the most energy-efficient fridges can’t function to their best efficiency when constantly overloaded.
How Full Should Your Fridge be?
